The Uruguayan was prevented from becoming the Ligue 1 side's leading scorer on Wednesday by his Brazilian team-mate. Neymar risked reigniting his spot-kick spat with Edinson Cavani by denying the centre-forward the chance to become Paris Saint-Germain's all-time leading scorer on Wednesday.
Uruguay striker Cavani moved level with Zlatan Ibrahimovic on 156 goals by nodding in PSG's third from Angel Di Maria's cross in an 8-0 demolition of Dijon at the Parc des Princes.
Brazil superstar Neymar stole the show and had already scored three times to help the runaway Ligue 1 leaders take a 7-0 lead.
However, there was no room for sentiment from the former Barcelona star, who refused to let Cavani take a late penalty that would have seen him surpass Ibrahimovic's record.
Cavani, who has 20 league goals this term, was brought down by Cedric Yambere but Neymar ignored calls from the Parc des Princes crowd to allow his team-mate to step up, the Brazilian tucking away his fourth goal of the game.
Tensions appeared to flare between the two players in September when Neymar attempted to deprive Cavani of penalty duties in a Ligue 1 match against Lyon, the Uruguayan rejecting his team-mate's request only to then have his effort saved.
And Cavani, whose most prolific season came last term, when he hit an incredible 49 goals in 50 games, also missed a penalty against Troyes in November.

The demolition of N800 million Music House belonging to popular musician, Yinka Ayefele, in Ibadan has finally divided Oyo State government. While the government’s lawyer, Yomi Alliyu, denied the involvement of the state government in the demolition exercise, the Special Adviser to the Oyo State governor on Physical Planning and Development Control, Waheed Gbadamosi, admitted that it was the government that demolished Ayefele’s Fresh FM building. Barrister Alliyu told the State High Court, presided by Justice Iyabo Yerima on Monday August 20, that the state has no hand in Ayefele’s misfortune. “My clients are men of honour that respect rule of law and constituted authority and will have no reason to demolish the said property,” Alliyu told the court. The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has commended the gallantry of men of the Edo State Police Command, who foiled a robbery attack on a bank in Igarra, in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.
