{SPORT ZONE}~ “Lose To Liverpool And Title Race Is Over” – Manchester City Coach Warns Players

Image
Pep Guardiola has warned his Manchester City side a failure to beat Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday will effectively mean their title challenge is “over”. Reigning champions City revived their bid to retain the Premier League trophy with a 3-1 win away to Southampton on Sunday that followed shock defeats by Crystal Palace and Leicester. Victory at St Mary’s, however, still left City seven points behind leaders Liverpool and for a while, it seemed Guardiola’s side might drop more points on the south coast. Saints’ frustrations boiled over with a red card for Hojbjerg after a wild challenge on Fernandinho late in the game. “We knew it, that with the position o

Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite has just shared her biggest testimony of 2018 and how God gave her a massive army to fight her battle. According to her, ‘I was fighting a serious battle for over a year. A battle I knew I could never ever have won by power nor by might. So instead, I decided to pray HARD about it. Oh dear, I disturbed God on this matter. I would sing, dance, cry, praise, worship; day and night’. A whole year passed and nothing happened. But I refused to give up. On the 17th of May (a day before my birthday), I went to a mid week service. I dragged myself to church that day. I was overwhelmed. I had no strength left in me. My head kept telling me to give up, but my heart and spirit said NO. There was an altar call in church that day for people who desperately needed God to show up for them. I joined about a hundred other people. I tried to control my emotions. A few tears escaped and I would quickly wipe them away but at some point, I let go. I showed my

Image
A recent ruling by Canada’s refugee board makes it harder for Nigerians to be granted asylum, and refugee lawyers are unhappy about how unfair it is. The Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers (CARL) is dragging the Canadian government to court over a recent court ruling that will make it hard for Nigerians to be granted asylum in the North American country. According to a report by New York Times, the association is displeased with the recent decision of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) to establish as a legal precedent its ruling to deny a Nigerian woman’s asylum request. The unnamed Nigerian woman was denied asylum even though she claimed she fled Nigeria to escape the practice of female genital mutilation. The court ruled that she could have sought refuge away from her rural family home in any of Nigeria’s large cities of Ibadan or Port Harcourt, and not necessarily run all the way to Canada. The IRB seized on the ruling to designate it as a “jurisprudential
